The European newsletter EurActiv has published an interview on Innovation Journalism. It is very well edited, and explains in clear and simple langugage the concept of innovation journalism, its importance in society, and the challenge of making it happen. The story is written by EurActiv writer Gary Finnegan.

I came across your site while browsing the Internet about innovative journalism and what is in store for future journalists. I think your site has a wide variety of posts on the community of journalism and the content is very comprehensive. I just graduated from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism and am currently working at an Internet start-up called Newsy.com, which is partnered with the Journalism school to give students the chance to participate in a new form of reporting.

Basically, Newsy.com creates videos that analyze and synthesize news coverage of important global issues from multiple sources. Its unique method of presenting how different media outlets around the world are covering a story lends itself well to understanding the complexities of political issues, among many other topics. I think Newsy’s unique approach would appeal to you.

Below is an example of a recent video on Nancy Pelosi and the controversies surrounding her accusations, taking perspectives from multiple news outlets to present an unbiased story. Please let me know what you think.
